Induction heating was pioneered by Newelco and today Newelco bar heaters are in routine use in major forging plants in 50 countries worldwide.

Newelco produce a range of standard bar heaters to feed automatic forging machines, hot shear lines and rolling mills. Where a customer`s requirements cannot be met by standard heaters, Newelco will design and manufacture to meet specific needs.

  1. Micro-processor control
    Automatically stores and recalls details of previous production, setting voltage and speed of bars, plus provision of a range of additional management information.



  2. Bar Loader and Storage System
    Matches the requirements to the forging machine either automatically or semi automatically.
  3. Coil Shuttle
    Enables rapid change over of coil sets.
  4. Standby
    Larger bar heaters have the facility to hold bars at temperature enabling immediate start-up after short stoppages.
